im sorry that people distance themselves from you just because of your occupation. i can't see why people who love/know you for who you are would suddenly view you differently because of a job you have. that's just rude, in my oppinion, /especially/ when they go on to distance themselves from you. i really hope you will find someone who genuinely has no problem with your occupation, because you deserve that <33

SANE.      you’re not being rude at all, honey !!!       unfortunately, because the media portrays sex workers as filthy, pathetic, and cheap, relationships are very difficult if you’re using the   full honesty   policy.    i inform all of my partners of my side occupation, because i think it’s important.    however, my girlfriend of three years left me when i told her. and every relationship since then has had the same result.     people distance themselves from you when you tell them, it’s just something that comes with the job. i find even people who say they’re “ok” with it, end up having a moral issue with it sooner or later.   that meaning, they’ll confront you at a later time about how much it freaks them out.  it’s unfortunate, but as a sex worker,   romance is almost entirely out of the question.
